PROTON YOUNG TALENT PROGRAM

PROTON Young Talent (PYT) Programme is a fast-track development program designed for high potential young graduates to accelerate job competence at the Entry Level. It is a comprehensive development program using the blended learning approach that provides exposure and prepares young talents to quickly assimilate into PROTON operations.

PROTON YOUNG TALENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN

01 ONBOARDING PROGRAM
- Enable new young talents to have a smooth transition to the work environment and adapt to PROTON’s culture for greater productivity.
- Program include:
- Briefing by key divisions and plants visit
- Classroom sessions for identified program (NPDS / 6 Sigma / Business Etiquette /Mandarin Class)
- Data Analyst Data Certification Program

02 JOB ATTACHMENT & PROJECT
- 4 attachments in Core Divisions for 3 months
- Group manufacturing
- Engineering & Technical
- Commercial
- HRBP function
- Group project for each attachment
- Duration: 1 year

03 PROJECT COACHING
Every young talent will be assigned with a project coach to guide them to understand the business and operations during each job attachment.

04 5-YEAR CAREER PATH FRAMEWORK FOR YOUNG TALENT
The framework includes:
- Leadership focus area
- Development plan – structured development program, job rotation & coaching
- Annual performance review and assessment

05 ONLINE E-LEARNING PLATFORM
- To equip young talents with necessary skills : Self development / Functional skills / Leadership development / IR 4.0 Awareness / Skills
- Monitor and track by HCA
- Duration: 1 year
