Are you passionate about shaping the future of data engineering? Join our dynamic Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) team at KKCompany's Multimedia Technologies! We are actively seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to scaling our innovative data platform. You will play a key role in developing and operating our platform across various work streams, including BlendVision One (BVOne) and Recommendation-as-a-Service (RaaS) platforms. Your contributions will encompass extending and modernizing the data platform to enhance productivity and meet the growing demands of data applications, such as analytics, machine learning, and the collection of user and usage events.

In this role, you will collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including backend engineers, data analysts, and data scientists, as well as talented professionals with extensive experience in the data engineering field. Your contribution is crucial to supporting our organization's commitment to expanding business value, ensuring the delivery of accurate, high-quality data products, and facilitating well-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and operate robust data pipelines, processing substantial data volumes to deliver high-quality curated data products.
• Leverage and enhance a tech stack on the cloud, incorporating DBT (data build tool), BigQuery, Airflow, Kubernetes, data ingestion, and data-serving API.

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in data processing on data-intensive distributed systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages, especially Go or Python.
• Experience with data processing frameworks, preferably BigQuery or Spark.

Nice To Have: 

• Passion for writing clean, modular, and self-annotated code, contributing to improve data quality.
• Experience building data solutions on the cloud, preferably on GCP.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
