Job Summary:

MAI is seeking AI Researcher with expertise in medical imaging and deep learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MONAI, 3D Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and transfer learning. This role involves developing and implementing algorithms that can analyze and interpret complex medical imaging data to enhance our VR-based educational platforms. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate these technologies into user-friendly applications that improve medical training and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development:
• Design and develop advanced deep learning models for medical image analysis, particularly using MONAI, 3D CNNs, and transfer learning techniques.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stay abreast of latest AI research pertinent to medical imaging and incorporate cutting-edge techniques into our projects.
• Collaboration and Innovation:
• Work closely with VR developer, medical professional, and other stakeholder to translate AI research into practical VR applications.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the functionality and impact of our VR medical education solutions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to push the boundaries of what is possible in medical EdTech.

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with a focus on medical imaging.
• Proven experience in medical imaging using MONAI framework.

• Excellent programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
