• We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO. They will also have experience with unit testing and debugging in these technologies.

Job Requirements

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows best practices.
• Implement robust and scalable APIs for our web applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure smooth integration.
• Conduct performance tests and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Debug applications and detect and fix errors.
• Implement data protection and security features.
• Write and implement efficient unit tests for the backend components to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with new trends and advancements in web development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Node.js developer.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO.
• Experience with server-side testing and debugging.
• Proven experience in writing and implementing unit tests for backend components.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
