Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO. They will also have experience with unit testing and debugging in these technologies.

Requirements

• Contribute to research initiatives exploring emerging backend technologies and architectures
• Develop and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO
• Assist in designing and implementing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Optimize application performance and improve system efficiency
• Implement robust security measures and ensure data protection
• Advocate for and implement best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation
• Stay informed about industry trends and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Node.js developer
• Demonstrated interest in research or involvement in proof-of-concept projects
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Solid experience with server-side testing frameworks and methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
