As an HBM Reliability Test Development Engineer at Micron, you will develop and support qualification stress flows and characterization for HBM and other high performance memory solutions. This includes helping develop product reliability methodologies and respond to product deviations as they pertain to quality and reliability. You will establish and enforce quality and reliability requirements through robust testing and analysis of device characterization data and device issues. Additionally, you will work with design, process, test, and reliability engineering to develop new stresses, characterizations, determine root causes of failures, solve problems, and resolve quality issues. Responsibilities Generate Reliability Test Flows Review new design specifications. Generate and verify stress and characterization flows as requested. Debug issues encountered during the flow’s development. Perform test optimization. Failure Analyzation Determine relevant fails requiring resolution for qualification. As a DRAM and Emerging Memory Quality and Reliability Assurance (DEMQRA)Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing and tracking the formal Failure Analysis (FA) of customer-returned product. You will summarize analysis at the electrical and physical level, identifying root cause, and establishing an associated containment plan. In this role you will work with various engineering and manufacturing groups to evaluate and implement corrective actions (CAs) for the identified issues. You will also be required to regularly communicate FA results to customers as well as other Micron engineering and manufacturing teams. Additionally, you will need to sustain knowledge of device capabilities and characteristics along with a basic understanding of the associated manufacturing processes. As a GQ (Global Quality) Package Reliability Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., we are primarily responsible for package quality and reliability for Micron’s product lines working end to end for DRAM and HBM, provide inputs and approve phase gates, HVM monitoring and dispositions. This responsibility includes coordinating package qualification efforts for new products and when new designs, materials, or processes are introduced and providing recommendations on product release based on reliability test results. You will also be encouraged to devise reliability test plans to assess risk associated with excursions, conversions, and reliability and qualification issues. You will coordinate root cause and corrective action efforts within the GQ department for package related qualification and GCP failures and prepare reports for discussion and escalation. You will also engage in phase gate review starting from design to production release and ensure CTQ compliance and inline validation. Successful candidate for this position will have: Detailed knowledge of semiconductor component package assembly processes and challenges in particularly HBM and 3DS packages. Understanding of mechanical and material interaction effects on reliability of IC components and/or Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCB) assemblies Good understanding of the effects thermo-mechanical, thermal, mechanical, and hygroscopic swelling stresses on package reliability A proven understanding of industry standard reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics preferred. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and detail oriented. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to interact easily with other groups. Good written and interpersonal skills, digital literacy are vital. proven understanding of the software systems employed in backend manufacturing and analytics is a plus like MAM, MES, JMP, Tableau etc.

As a Global Quality Reliability Method Group Senior statistician for Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with different teams providing statistics and data science (DS) solutions that support taking company’s products from design to production, and to customer. Your primary responsibility will be utilizing statistical and DS knowledge and techniques to develop and implement methods for data analysis, modeling, and automation to ensure product quality and reliability, as well as to enhance production efficiency, and to guarantee customers’ satisfaction. You will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with Management, Product, Process, Assembly Test, and Quality Assurance groups, and external customers for product quality and reliability related issues. In addition, you will work with RMstats team as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide stats and data science consulting, project support, training, and mentoring. Responsibilities include, but not limited Work with RMstats team to complete routine component/system reliability testing results evaluation and reporting, including evaluation/analysis of abnormal behavior and work with relevant parties to address issues identified. Complete other requested DRAM, Mobile/Auto, NAND/mNAND, SSD, HBM, etc. reliability test data analysis and evaluation. Work with RMstats team and other teams to complete necessary tasks to maintain and improve all analysis tools, business procedures/processes owned or developed by the team. Collaborate with TEST, PE, GQ, and fab to address component/system tests needs for product quality reliability and production efficiency including timely evaluation and recommendation of test condition adjustment. Participation in and updating different departments’ weekly/monthly reliability meetings with necessarily follow up, providing consulting and support for reliability tests related DOE, data analysis, modeling, etc. Use advanced stats and DS techniques to develop solutions that address the needs of quality/reliability tests at wafer, component, and system level. Serve as the SME of Stats DS to provide companywide consulting and support in research and development of advanced stats and DS methods/procedures. Serve as an SME to provide consulting and support to management and engineering teams from Fab, PE, Assembly Test, Global Quality, and external customers in terms of product reliability and other stats / DS related subjects. Provide timely support to stats or data science related projects from areas across the company when requested. Work with the company’s Technical Leadership Program (TLP), stats and DS community to support and organize company’s Stats/DS events. Work with RMstats team to deliver scheduled data analysis courses at local sites and support the course and train the trainer needs from other areas across the company. Work with the company’s engineering, stats, and DS community to develop engineering stats and DS training courses and training material.
