Engineering Manager (Global Startup Company)

1. Manage and lead a team of technical IT professionals
2. Build up the development team to enhance technical capabilities and team effectiveness.
3. Delegating work and assignments to team members.
4. Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems.
5. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking components.
6. Collaborate closely with Product Managers to align development with the organization's product vision and deliver results to production.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance.
8. Set clear goals and expectations for team members, conducting code reviews, regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
9. Gather and address technical and design requirements, ensuring all aspects of the application are aligned and functional.

1. Minimum of 8+ years of software development with 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
2. Ability to manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team across different technology stacks.
3. Hands on programing in back-end programming using Java, spring boot and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
4. Understanding of software development life-cycle and object-oriented programming
5. Familiar with cloud technology (AWS, GCP or Azure)
6. Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across international teams.
