Video Streaming Startup - Senior Frontend (React) Developer
Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior React Developer with experience in live streaming and short video platforms. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and real-time video applications. If you have experience with WebRTC, HLS, DASH, and DRM technologies (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady), that’s a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize React-based video streaming applications using WebRTC, HLS, DASH.
2. Ensure smooth playback with adaptive streaming, CDN caching, and efficient buffering.
3. Implement seamless user experiences with virtual scrolling, lazy loading, and real-time UI updates.
4. Use Firebase for real-time data synchronization.
5. Use React Query for efficient data fetching and synchronization.
6. Implement DRM-protected streaming using Shaka Player (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady).
7. Effectively leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-assisted debugging) to enhance development quality and efficiency.
8. (Bonus) Work on real-time video filters & effects using WebGL/WebGPU.
9. (Bonus) Experience with MobX for state management.

7. Ability to use AI tools effectively to improve development speed and quality.
8. Experience with Shaka Player for adaptive streaming and DRM integration.
9. (Bonus) Experience with WebGL / WebGPU for video effects.
10. (Bonus) Experience with MobX for state management.
