Purchasing Representative

The Purchasing Representative is a critical member of the NewPower Worldwide Procurement team and is responsible for driving revenue growth through new and existing vendor relationship. Your focus is to increase the vendor base and contribute to our long-term business growth. Responsibilities include researching targeted/strategic vendors, developing relationships with potential new vendors, managing, and growing existing vendor revenue opportunities.

1. Conduct sourcing activities within APAC region.
2. Identify, qualify new suppliers and vendors.
3. Monitors pertinent markets and defines how changes will impact supply and pricing conditions.
4. Responsible to retrieve service request enquiries from Sales team and update pricing into the CRM.
5. Build, maintain strong relationship with existing and new suppliers and/or vendors.

*Some years of experience in Electronic Components Sourcing preferred*
