Role Description

As a Quantitative Researcher / Developer at Project A, you will play a key role in researching and developing algorithmic trading strategies for the cryptocurrency market. You will analyze financial data, backtest strategies, and work closely with our engineering team to implement these strategies into our trading system. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your quantitative skills in a dynamic and fast-paced market.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement data-driven trading strategies using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning methods.
• Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of trading strategies and optimize them for maximum profitability and risk-adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with the software engineering team to integrate your strategies into the trading infrastructure.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the crypto markets, trading venues, as well as traditional financial markets.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quantitative research or algorithmic trading.
• Strong programming skills in Rust, C++, Python, R, Matlab, or other programming languages used in quantitative research.
• Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning methods.
• Experience in developing and backtesting trading strategies.
• Familiarity with the cryptocurrency markets, trading venues, and HFT is a plus.
