2001: RiskVal Founded

RiskVal was established in 2001 by founder and current CEO, Jordan Hu. He assembled a team of highly experienced and knowledgeable quantitative analysts and software engineers to create a front office platform that was not only powerful but also flexible enough to evolve with the market in real-time.

2003: Launched First Product - RVFI

The first official version of RiskVal Fixed-Income (RVFI) became available in 2003 after two years of production. Its first client was one of the largest private companies in North America, and it has since been deployed on the trading desks of nearly all Tier 1 Banks in the region.

2009: Recognized by the Industry

In 2009, RiskVal received significant attention from industry analysts and critics. The company was first noticed by financial media at the Finextra Innovation Showcase for its ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions during the downturn. Moreover, RiskVal received a first-place award from the Waters Rankings.

Asia Office Opened

Later in 2009, in response to industry recognition, new products, and record growth in 2008 and 2009, RiskVal opened a permanent office in Taipei, Taiwan, to provide 24-hour support operations.

2010: RVPortfolio Launched

RiskVal released RiskVal Portfolio (RVPortfolio) in 2010, a real-time SaaS solution offering enterprise-wide, fully integrated real-time bucket risk analysis, and real-time P&L.

RVFI: Pre-Trade Analytics

RVFI is a multi-currency and multistrategy pre-trade system that allows traders and portfolio managers to run an in-depth analysis using relative value metrics and measures and generate new trading strategies to maximize alpha. This is a ready-to-use SaaS platform installed natively on each user’s PC.

It covers all interest rate instruments, from cash and plain vanilla securities to exotic derivatives over the universe of G30 currencies. RVFI’s risk management framework is carefully designed to provide intraday front office risks and P&L management.

RVPortfolio: Portfolio Risk Management

RVPortfolio allows managers to break down risk into individual component and then dig deeper using risk analysis tools that include risk factor sensitivities, P&L Explanation, Scenario Analysis and Value-at-Risk. RVPortfolio elminates the tedious work required to identify risk factors and gives manager an intuitive tool that helps them to make better decisions.

RVExcel / RVPython: Our in-house API to plug-in directly to your Excel spreadsheets and Python scripts

RVExcel and RVPython allow traders and portfolio managers to build their own spreadsheets and scripts while harnessing the powerful pricing and analytics engine of RVFI.

Bloomberg Apps: Monitor Bond RV and Spreads/Flys via our Bloomberg Apps

RiskVal’s USD Treasury RV Bloomberg App allows traders to see the richest / cheapest bond in each sector on a variety of relative value metrics.

RiskVal’s USD Spreads and Butterflys App allows traders to enter a variety of bonds and futures strategies and monitor the levels as well as various relative value metrics.

1. Leave Policy:
We adhere to the standard Taiwan Labor Laws regarding sick leave, maternity leave, parental leave, and prenatal checkup leave.

Annual Special Leave

• Less than 2 years: 10 days per year
• Over 2 years but less than 5 years: 15 days per year
• Over 5 years but under 10 years: 20 days per year
• Over 10 years: add 1 day each year, up to 30 days

Special Leave Policy for New Employees

For new employees, special leave is calculated based on the proportion of days they have worked in the first year, rounded off to the nearest whole number.

• For example, if an employee starts on September 1st, with 121 working days until December 31st, the calculation is: (121/365) * 10 = 3.31. After rounding, the employee receives 3 days of special leave.

2. Quarterly Employee Meals:
Every three months, we organize a company-sponsored meal for all employees. These meals provide an opportunity to relax, socialize, and strengthen connections with colleagues outside the work environment. We believe that sharing a meal together is a great way to foster team spirit and build strong relationships within our team.

3. Annual Employee Trip:
