About Us:

SALT Collectiv is a nonprofit organization in Taiwan focused on community impact through initiatives such as our SALT Kitchen, orphanage visitations, and a variety of engaging events.

We’re seeking a passionate and bilingual Community Manager to engage and coordinate our volunteer base while supporting events and fostering relationships to build a thriving, supportive community that drives impactful change in Taiwan.

Your Role

1. Volunteer Engagement & Development:

• Manage our volunteer base by maintaining an updated database of volunteers, their availability, and areas of interest.
• Recruit, train, and onboard volunteer leaders (Core Plus) by providing the necessary tools, information and motivation to ensure their experience is meaningful and impactful
• Collaborate with Events Coordinator in planning quarterly meetings with the Core Plus team, which include a social hangout.

2. Community Management:

• Act as a liaison between volunteers and team leaders to ensure everyone is aligned.
• Serve as liaison with SALT Partners, mainly coordinating quarterly volunteer experiences for them, then reporting participation and feedback to senior leadership.
• Plan and execute engagement activities to build stronger connections among our volunteers.

3. Event & Program Support:

• Collaborate with the Events Coordinator and Operations Manager to help promote and execute SALT initiatives and community events.
• Ensure volunteers are assigned roles and have the resources needed for events.

4. Communication and Feedback:

• Provide regular updates to the volunteer base about upcoming opportunities.
• Collect and analyze feedback from volunteers to improve their experience.

• Experience: in volunteer coordination or community building preferred.
• Language: Bilingual in Mandarin and English (required).
• Location: Residing in or around Taipei, Taiwan.
