Job brief

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and creative Junior Software Developer to join our experienced software design team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience within a Full Stack role and be eager to gain some hands-on experience in an exciting new role. The focus of the role will be to design and development of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, assist in requirements gathering users’ need, and reporting of system analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the development team with all aspects of coding, software design and other duties as required.

• Attending meetings to discuss the development of the software and contributing to the meetings with new ideas.

• Writing code from scratch and ensuring existing code is properly maintained to ensure the best possible functionality.

• Working to analyze and identify bugs and implementing methods to fix them.

• Efficiently responding to requests for assistance from the development team.

• Responsible for presentation to senior developers and management.

• Testing developed software and programs to ensure the best functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology

• At least 2 years of recent programming experience using C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• Good .NET Framework knowledge

• MVC knowledge would be considered an advantage

• Basic understanding of databases and how they work

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software

• Able to quickly learn new software, programming languages, and technologies

• Outstanding attention to detail with great organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask, follow deadlines, and stay organized
