WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING
At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences—from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. When you join AMD, you’ll discover the real differentiator is our culture. We push the limits of innovation to solve the world’s most important challenges—striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond.  Together, we advance your career.

THE ROLE:
As a core member of our Full-Stack Software Development Team, you will initially take the helm of our critical web development and internal data systems. Our team is currently dedicated to building a modern "AI-Driven Hardware Design Management Platform," but we are on an exciting evolutionary path. Your mission is to fully master our existing web architecture by the end of this year, setting the foundation to pivot with the entire group as we strategically transition into the "Allegro Automation Team" in the new year.

Here, you will work closely with cross-disciplinary experts in hardware instrumentation, Python, and layout (Allegro SKILL). This is not just about writing code; it is about reshaping cross-departmental workflows through big data and advanced automation technologies. If you love untangling clear logic from complex data, possess a strong sensitivity to numbers, and enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from driving a team's technical transformation, this role offers an exceptional stage for you to shine!

THE PERSON:
- Possesses strong "cross-functional translation" skills, capable of accurately grasping the pain points of non-technical units (or hardware engineers) and translating them into clear system development specifications.
- Exhibits a high sensitivity to numbers and database logic, with rigorous logical thinking and the patience to organize complex underlying data architectures.
- Open-minded, composed, and highly adaptable, demonstrating an accountable attitude when facing new technologies and the team's upcoming strategic transition.
- Possesses the trait of "simplifying complexities," enjoying the systemization and automation of complex project workflows, and is passionate about introducing AI tools to optimize development processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- First 3 months: Quickly familiarize yourself with existing internal web system architectures and data flows, and smoothly take over core frontend and backend maintenance tasks.
- By the End of the Year: Fully master the currently developed web systems and internal management platforms. You will independently handle system integrations, ensure data accuracy across cross-system databases, and build Business Intelligence (BI) visual dashboards to provide a solid data foundation for the team.
- The New Year: Align with the team's strategic goal to evolve into the "Allegro Automation Team". You will pivot your full-stack and data expertise to support advanced automation initiatives, integrating our web platforms with EDA tools (Allegro) and Python-based instrument controls to achieve fully automated hardware design workflows.
- Long-Term: Become the team's primary force in data logic and automation architecture, utilizing process improvement practices (such as PDCA) to continuously refactor systems and seamlessly integrate AI-assisted tools into daily engineering workflows.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in full-stack web development, familiar with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and server-side backend development (Node.js, or Python are all welcome).
- Deep hands-on experience with relational databases, proficient in SQL, and capable of independently handling complex cross-system data integration and filtering.
- Experience in large-scale cross-functional project management, KPI monitoring, or practical quality improvement methodologies is highly desired.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with integrating AI services (e.g., OpenAI API) into existing development systems.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Master's degree in Management, Information Management, Data Science, or related fields preferred.
- Training certifications or professional technical credentials in full-stack software development, AI applications, or database management desired.
