Security Analytic Engine (SAE), a cloud-based analytic engine, is what we’re building now with the streaming technology which plays a key role in Trend Micro™ XDR (https://www.trendmicro.com/en_us/business/products/detection-response/xdr.html) that correlates hundreds of billions of activity data collected from Trend Micro products per day to produce value with high-fidelity and real-time alerts for Trend Micro™ XDR customers. To make this happen, this team consists of talents from different domains or with subject matter knowledge, including software development, threat expert & data scientist. In order to continuously produce reliable and quality output in such a changing environment, this team runs autonomously with an agile approach & DevOps practice. What You’ll Do

Cloud Backend Developer designs and implements systems on top of cloud infrastructure, which processes a tremendous volume of data. Building smoothing CI/CD processes and applying DevOps practices to increase productivity and availability. Furthermore, you are going to design cloud architecture to make the system more resilient. Thinking through the best ways to solve particular technical challenges. There are many tasks to do, we believe that various engineering skills all can help

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Solid knowledge of one programming language (we use Java and Python)
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure, cloud application, and data pipeline development and operation on AWS (or Azure/GCP)
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Flink
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with identifying, designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures, and data sets
• Experience with monitoring frameworks like Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD & DevOps practice
• Experience with at least one of IaC, such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with Web API development (Java Spring framework is a plus)
• Willing to work in Agile and DevOps environment
