Sr. Front-end Engineer (BIF)

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with expertise in React and TypeScript to join our dynamic team in Taipei. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a focus on creating scalable, high-performance web applications. You will be working on a global, in-house BI solution, a self-service platform providing business insights, including product, customer, and sales intelligence to validate hypotheses easily. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional user-facing products.

Responsibilities:
1. Build a highly interactive web application according to demands from stakeholders.
2. Participate in feature discussions, feedback reviews, and troubleshooting.
3. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues. Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
4. Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of the application.

Requirements:
- At least 2-year proven experience as a front-end developer, specifically with React and TypeScript.
- Solid fundamentals in JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to accept frequent requirements changes.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in responsive design implementations.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with module bundlers like Webpack.
- Proven ability to deliver solutions independently and collaboratively.
- Fast learner with a strong passion for learning new technology.
- Willingness to be trained and temporarily assigned to different projects.

Plus:
- Strong knowledge and experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Backend skills in ASP.NET Core to facilitate better collaboration with the team.
