Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. TSMC IT is actively seeking Software & DevOps Engineers to build and scale next-generation intelligent manufacturing platforms and products (e.g., Intelligent Manufacturing, Engineering Control, Tool Automation, and AI-based BOTs, etc.).In addition to software development, your duties involve interacting with various engineering teams and working closely with operations and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement cloud-native microservice architectures.
2. Refactor existing monolithic applications into cloud-native architectures.
3. Collaborate with the SRE team to define, establish, and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
4. Architect service monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve production issues.
5. Optimize and automate service maintenance and operational workflows continuously.
6. Manage project tasks and product release cycles.
7. Foster a culture of high-quality software development and robust deployment processes.
8. Evaluate and drive the adoption of emerging IT technologies.9. Work in Tainan (On-site).
1. Possess professional experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, F#, C#, Python, Rust, or other relevant programming languages.
2. Demonstrate familiarity with Functional Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, or other programming paradigms (highly preferred).
3. Show familiarity with DevOps quality control processes, artifact management, and CI/CD toolchains.
4. Exhibit hands-on experience with containerization and cloud-native solutions, such as Kubernetes (K8s), Istio, ArgoCD, MongoDB, and Redis (highly preferred).
5. Bring full-stack web application development experience, particularly in building large-scale software applications (highly preferred).
6. Prove the capability to evaluate and successfully adopt new technologies.
7. Display key personal attributes: highly self-motivated, a critical thinker, and a strong team player.
