Where thought meets action

After 28 years as an operator at early-stage startups I strategically transitioned into venture in 2023 when I joined Purdue Ventures as Associate Director. I made this transition because it allows me to live at the intersection of innovation and entrepreneurship, to back the next generation of entrepreneurs with impactful capital, and also provide them with value-added support by drawing on my operating experience and network as they pursue their vision and dreams.

My style and ethos marries strategic thought with disciplined action. I'm a builder who finds comfort and enjoyment in the early-stages as I truly embrace "Zero to One" and "One to Two" opportunities. Within venture, I work in and impact the functional areas of venture organizations such as investing and portfolio management, strategic partnerships and programs, and also organizational operations. At present, and as part of my upcoming move to back to the Denver Colorado area, I'm seeking a new senior leadership (or individual contributor) role with an early-stage oriented venture capital firm, non-profit, university venture arm, impact fund, or family office.
