BinarGala is an event from a Community Development course project that aims to increase the profile and awareness that we invite to work with the PBI (Indonesian Women in Kebaya) organization. PBI itself is an organization that has 12 branches in Indonesia and is based in Jakarta, and has even started to enter UNESCO. The purpose of the event that my team and I are doing is to rebuild awareness of Indonesian culture, namely the kebaya so that it survives and can be used in everyday life comfortably and remains fashionable. the essence of this community development is to collect donations to give to the Baduy tribe in the form of cloth. The Baduy tribe and my team chose it because it is the only tribe in Indonesia that still wears kebaya and makes cloth in their daily activities.
