Jane Lee - Rebellion Defense VP of Policy and Government Affairs

Drawing on two decades of experience as a government executive and senior policy adviser, Jane Lee serves as vice president of policy and government affairs at Rebellion Defense, a startup founded in 2019 that provides AI-Machine Learning powered software for the U.S and NATO allies. Before taking on this role in 2022, Jane Lee served as head of policy and government affairs at the startup. She is also founder of a trade organization representing the interests of small businesses engaging with the Defense Department and the Intelligence Community, Software in Defense Coalition.

From 2016 to 2021, Ms. Lee was a senior adviser for Senate leadership. Among her achievements in the role, she helped with the passage of the bipartisan CARES Act as well as bipartisan COVID-19 economic rescue packages.

Among her many professional endeavors, Ms. Lee served as senior policy adviser and subcommittee director for the Senate Appropriations Committee and policy director for the House of Representatives Committee on Budget. From 2005 to 2011, she was a senior career official for the White House Office of Management and Budget.

Jane Lee has degrees from Stanford University and dual-masters from Columbia University. In 2022, the Washingtonian Magazine included her in its DC’s Top Influential People issue.
