After graduating summa cum laude with a degree in nursing from Lee College in her hometown of Baytown, Texas, Jeanne Shipp became a registered nurse in 2005. Subsequently, she accepted her first position as an emergency room nurse at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena, Texas. Four years later, Jeanne Shipp joined the Elite Care Emergency Center in Houston as an administrator.
In 2014, Jeanne Shipp co-founded her own business, the PER Management Company, LLC, which she continues to guide. Throughout the next few years, she added other entrepreneurial endeavors to her portfolio, including BOSH Management and Consulting, LLC in Longview, Hospitality Health ER in Tyler, SHB&C, LLC, a medical coding and billing firm, in Baytown, and Hospitality Health ER in Galveston.
Jeanne Shipp's professional memberships include the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers (TAFEC). She also belongs to the Baytown Chamber of Commerce and the West Chambers County Chamber of Commerce.
In 2018, she helped sponsor the All Star Gala for the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD). At the event, she presented a $15,000 check to the GCCISD Education Foundation to provide scholarships to local students.
