Identify the root cause of design, manufacturing, or reliability issues and develop corrective actions. Collaborate with suppliers of subsystems or individual parts throughout the design and manufacturing process. Anticipate and address product design issues or risks, analyze data, and validate product design to suggest or implement design improvements. Manage the product design, provide guidance to team members, and communicate progress, and request feedback to prevent/remove roadblocks. Balance design considerations such as functionality, sustainability, reliability, human factors, manufacturability, and aesthetics.
