- Be part of Product Test Engineering team responsible for engineering and manufacturing support of industry-leading SATA and NVMe Solid-StateDrive.- SSD test program validation, failure analysis, cost reduction and yield improvements.- Provide NPI and HVM production support for SSD test development, manufacturing flow improvement, QC failure and RMA DPPM reduction.- Engineering support for SSD products after transition from design to high volume production, work with design, process, validation and reliability engineers to solve problems.- Work closely with contract manufacturing and corporate internal RD teams such as Nand, ASIC, Validation, and Firmware to develop and verify proper HVM friendly manufacturing test process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, test, integrate and maintain quality firmware for eHDD using best practices like unit test, CI and Agile methodologies.  Design and implementation of data structures, software algorithms, data path, and drivers for hardware cores using latest standards C++ and Python.   Participate in significant technical investigations from problem statement to conclusions.  Creates design documents pertinent to the various phases of firmware development. Devise strategies for in-depth functionality and compatibility testing of complex drive features.

Design, develop, test, integrate and maintain quality firmware for eHDD using best practices like unit test, CI (continuous improvement) and Agile methodologies.Design and implementation of data structures, software algorithms, data path, and drivers for hardware cores using latest standards C++ and Python.Participate in Scrum Agile processes to bring up new hardware and develop embedded firmware for data storage products.Deliver cutting-edge storage products with SAS, SATA, PCIE interfaces.Collaborate and design solutions for the challenging yet unique problems across hardware and software platforms, including servers, RAID, and various operating systems (Windows and Linux).Participate in planning and coordinating significant technical investigations from problem statement to conclusion.Creates design documents pertinent to the various phases of firmware development.
