This position is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and will be responsible for the Quality Assurance at Kaohsiung Plant II (Jade Park) Your Role:Manage a team of Quality engineers in the execution and quality of materials at the Kaohsiung Plant II to major semiconductor customers globallyLead cross-functional teams in resolving technology issuesLead investigations to root cause and manage cross-functional teams in implementation of preventative/corrective or mitigation actions to ensure world-class quality.Be the voice of the customer to the sitesBe accountable to the business in maintaining quality performance and drive continuous improvement at the sites by driving collaboration with Site and global functional groups.Ensure discipline to process controls tools to ensure (e.g. SPC reviews) quality, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and variation reduction.Identify and enable automation activities to make decisions faster and improve visibility to unknown variable/issuesBe key voting member to disposition discrepant material, identifying gaps in the process, and managing cross-functional teams to implement controls to prevent/reduce variationLead and/or delegate Quality related Audits at the sitesContribute and support to the advancement of global quality related projects, process improvements with Lean and/or Six Sigma, and internal/customer related data-driven process optimization projectsIdentify, assess, and recommend mitigation risk actions to prevent negative impacts to business financials, quality and commitments to customers, and internal goals.Support new product introduction by leading risk assessments and ensuring process controls are in place to prevent escapes to customers Who you are:Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or other Technical discipline5 yrs or more in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, control engineering, analytical chemist, or semiconductor fabrication experienceMust be native Mandarin speaker with excellent English orally and written. Role and Responsibilities1. Team Leadership People DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Project Leaders to strengthen competencies in quality mindset, quality control, issue resolution, and quality assurance, and quality system.Build strategic capability in supplier quality management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.Allocate resources, set priorities, and provide clear direction to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.2.
