At the India Marketing team, our goal is simple: to bring the magic of products and experiences to our users, via focused GTM efforts including brand, product and retail marketing. As a Product Marketing Manager for Android in India, you will be responsible for building and establishing Android as the OS of choice. You will be part of a high performing team which will define product marketing strategy using the right user insights and value propositions, leading marketing campaigns with partners in India and globally. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, regional and global marketing teams in building the strategy, executing high impact campaigns and measuring their impact. You will also be working with external retail, OEM and carrier partners to build a robust Android ecosystem. Finally, your work will also require you to work with multiple partners and agencies, both creative and media, and inspire them to co-create meaningful and high impact social first campaigns.Responsibilities Develop strategy, workflow, insights and campaigns using AI to generate speed and efficiency. Develop integrated marketing campaigns which include narratives focused on our users and measuring the impact of our programs, and building every campaign with a social first angle. Lead internal communication for sharing actionable, incisive findings; generate buy-in from product and engineering partners to drive action on these insights. Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders/partners across Google to evaluate the marketing opportunities from a strategic, financial and operational perspective. Serve as the primary liaison with banks, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and key external partners to streamline merchant acquiring, core payment processing, and settlement workflows. Lead end-to-end partner negotiations and contracting processes to successfully launch and support new Form of Payment (FOPs), initiatives, business models. Co-ordinate external and internal liaison across cross-functional teams on acquiring programs, reliability management, Payment Aggregator Compliance and other partner operations work-streams, identifying changes in business Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) where needed. Oversee the delivery of compliance changes across cross-functional partners as necessitated by new NPCI and RBI guidelines, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in merchant onboarding, systems reliability, system migrations, and operational audits to protect core business metrics.
