While we have established products, this new mobile app represents a completely new product line and a major strategic expansion. We are seeking a founding Kotlin Engineer to join us as the first Mobile Engineer. This is a true "Zero to One" opportunity. You will work in parallel with our Backend and Frontend teams to shape the product specs, architect the system, and build the entire mobile application using cutting-edge Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Compose Multiplatform. You don't need to be an iOS expert yet. We are looking for a strong Android/Kotlin developer who is eager to fully adopt KMP and ready to collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams.-Key Responsibilities1. Build the Foundations As the first mobile engineer, you will set the engineering standards—including code style, modularization strategy, and release processes from the ground up. 2. KMP-First Architecture Design scalable mobile architecture using Kotlin Multiplatform for business logic and Compose Multiplatform for UI. Your goal is to keep the codebase 90%+ Kotlin while ensuring a native-like user experience. 3. Solve Complex Problems Independently research and implement solutions for native system integrations on both platforms (Android iOS) 4. Security Implementation Integrate secure storage, MPC cryptographic operations, and strict authentication mechanisms to ensure bank-grade security. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Backend (Co-design APIs): Define data contracts to ensure they are optimized for mobile performance and security.Frontend (Web - Hybrid Flow): Collaborate on Hybrid workflows (e.g., KYC). Implement secure WebView bridges and handle Deep Links for seamless transitions.UI/UX Designers: Establish a scalable Design System tailored for Compose Multiplatform and provide technical feasibility feedback early in the design process.Product Managers: Partner with PMs to assess technical feasibility and iterate on user flows in a fast-paced environment.DevOps: Collaborate to establish mobile CI/CD pipelines from scratch.

Routinely perform code reviews to ensure high quality designs and implementation. Who you are We are looking for software engineers with an interest in building tools and frameworks for engineers. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise in building tooling and infrastructure for builds, releases, automated testing; a passion for solving developer productivity problems, and a pragmatic approach to iterative problem solving. Minimum requirements Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Engineering/Science or related discipline. 4+ years of professional, full-time software development experience. Strong problem solver and able to take initiatives in solving problems. Experience writing high quality code in a major programming language, preferably Kotlin, Java or Golang. The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts. Preferred qualifications Proficiency in Kotlin, Java or Golang Experience building tools to improve developer productivity, and empathy for the end users.
