What you’ll own1) Deployment outcomes at scale Own the delivery of deployments across multiple factories and lines: schedule, staffing, readiness, execution, stabilization.Drive deployments to the finish line: stable inspections, acceptance criteria met, and clear handoff to customer operations.Build repeatable playbooks that reduce time-to-production and increase customer self-sufficiency. 2) Team leadership (hire, train, operate) Lead and grow a high-performance field team: applications engineers + technicians across regions.Set standards for execution: daily/weekly cadence, escalation paths, documentation, and quality bars.Coach your team to be fast, calm, and effective under pressure—especially when production is on the line. 3) Customer leadership (scope, expectations, urgency) Be the on-the-ground leader with customer stakeholders: process, quality, automation, and factory management.Manage scope ruthlessly but professionally: protect outcomes, prevent scope creep, and keep the project moving.Drive urgency: align customer resources, line access, sample parts, and decision-making so deployments don’t stall. 4) Process and systems building Create the operational infrastructure that makes deployment scale: onboarding + training frameworks, checklists, commissioning templates, project dashboards, post-mortems, and continuous improvement loopsTrack what matters: deployment cycle time, blockers, time-to-stability, acceptance rate, expansion readiness. 5) Product feedback that changes the roadmap Translate field pain into product improvements that make deployments faster and easier: better diagnostics, clearer workflows, installation standards, tooling, documentation, and “self-serve” capabilities.Work closely with global engineering and product to push changes that remove recurring friction. Engineering services are delivered under comprehensivepreventative and corrective maintenance contracts directly underthe service Provider's control. A high degree of emphasis is placedon the following:· The Engineering Manager will play a key role to ensure buildingpresentation standards including all items of equipment are maintainedand operate through close management of contractor services.· There will also be a requirement for the Engineering Manager toactively participate as part of the JLL Client Account team in theachievement of the overall objectives for the management of theproperty asset’s, by utilizing specialist knowledge of the broader teamand the wider JLL network of support and best practice.Duties responsibilitiesEngineering Management- To follow the agreed service delivery as indicated in the Site FieldManual for Engineering Services.- Proactively develop manage key strategies to minimize controlenergy consumption across the designated building/ portfolio.- Proactively manage the planned reactive fabric repairs maintenanceto maintain the property / workplace to agreed standards.- Monitor manage the operational statutory compliance of all fire life safety systems through the third-party service providers.General Accountability- Monitor manage the operational statutory maintenance of allbuilding electrical systems through the third-party service providers.- Monitor manage the planned preventative maintenance regime for allmechanical systems through the third-party service providers.- Monitor manage the contractor induction program for the allocatedbuilding / portfolio to ensure compliance with agreed process.- Manage all regular / irregular service provider JSAs to ensurecompliance with agreed process.- Manage building asset registers to maintain an accurate database.- Support project resources by taking ownership of post PC defectsmonitoring rectification in line with agreed scope.- Management of Minor works projects in line with the agreed projectfilter.- Provide all relevant mentoring support to the Facilities Manager forother sites.Financial Management- Compilation of appropriate financial commitment data to support theannual property budget process.- Completion of monthly accrual forecast information to support themonth-end financial processesAdministration- Assistance with the preparation and presentation of monthly clientdashboard reports- Excellent record keeping ensuring that all capital works have receivedthe landlords written approval inclusive of all handover and DLPprocesses are completed.Candidate Specifications- Proven experience in the management of the broad spectrum ofbuilding services with emphasis on managing a multi-storey commercialasset and their systems including fire systems, electrical and buildingintelligence.- Environmental and Sustainability management knowledge andexperience within large commercial assets- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or related field- Business level of English
