Executive Summary:MoMo is Vietnam's leading fintech platform, driving financial inclusion through technology and innovation. The SME Payment Business Solutions (SPS) department powers one of the largest SME merchant ecosystems in the country through products like QR payments, Soundbox, and many other merchant solutions.SME User Business is the core engine of SPS — the team that turns every merchant touchpoint into a way to acquire, retain, and engage end-users on MoMo, and turns MoMo's user network into a competitive moat for SPS merchants against direct competitors. We're not looking for someone to "run" two teams. We're looking for a business owner who can take two interconnected engines — User Growth (QR-led acquisition and engagement) and B2B2C Business (merchant-to-end-user financial, promotion, and engagement products) — and make them work as one. This is a Senior Manager role with the scope and accountability of a Head: you own the strategy, the numbers, the product direction, and the PL-style outcomes of the entire User Business.Mô tả công việcAbout The Role:This role owns two business pillars. Your job is to set strategy, drive growth through data and product, build the team, and make both pillars compound each other rather than run in parallel.Pillar 1 — User Growth (QR-led): VietQR and SME MoMo QR growth.Pillar 2 — B2B2C Business (Merchant to End-user): Paylater for end-users, Promotion and communication solutions, and other user engagement products.Specifically, we need someone who can:Run QR-led user growth as a numbers game: design and continuously optimize incentive / reward schemes (scheme design, targeting, budget efficiency) to grow active users and frequency across VietQR and SME MoMo QR — measured on cost-per-incremental-MAU and frequency, not vanity volume.Shift User Growth from incentive-led to product-led: make the MoMo QR payment experience faster, smoother, and more convenient so growth compounds without burning budget; partner with Tech to ship growth-driving product improvements.Win the QR battle through MoMo ecosystem power: work cross-functionally to build bundles and reasons-to-prefer (rewards, financial services, content, loyalty) that make scanning MoMo's QR stronger than others — to acquire, retain, and increase the frequency of end-users.Deliver company strategic bet with Paylater product through SME merchants: own activation, GMV, retention, and the growth-vs-risk balance for SPS's highest-priority product this year, coordinating the Financial Services, Promotion, and Engagement streams into one end-user journey at the merchant.Pioneer Agentic AI inside the business: embed AI into insight monitoring, internal operations (segmentation, scheme design, A/B setup), and merchant / end-user-facing solutions.Complexity you'll manage:Two pillars, one business logic: User Growth (platform / acquisition) and B2B2C Business (financial + promotion + engagement) — which only create full value when integrated.A multi-disciplinary mandate: product, growth, and business development in one role — you'll move between scheme math, product roadmaps, and business development in the same period.A wide stakeholder map: Sales (ASM / RSM), Product / Tech, Risk, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and bank / partner relationships for QR and bundles.A team across both pillars: leaders spanning financial services, promotion, engagement, user growth, and product operations — with a mandate to grow leaders, not just hit tasks. What makes this role rare:Most growth roles optimize one lever — acquisition OR product OR partnerships. This one owns all three across two pillars, and is measured on whether they compound. Most "manager" roles ask you to trade analytical depth for headcount management. Here your edge in numbers, scheme design, and AI is the lever — not baggage to leave behind. Most first-line owners get a slice of a business. You own a whole, complex business end-to-end — strategy to customer-facing decisions to outcomes — with Head-level scope and BoD visibility on one of the biggest user businesses in MoMo.Yêu cầu công việcWho Will Succeed in This Role:This is one of the most demanding business-owner roles in SPS — Senior Manager in title, Head in scope. You own how hundreds of thousands of merchants and millions of end-users experience MoMo's QR and merchant products. The people who thrive in this role don't come from a single background: ex-consultants who've run growth or strategy transformations; product leaders who've owned a PL-adjacent metric; growth leaders fluent in incentive economics; or business owners who've built a unit from zero. What they share:Numbers-obsessed growth operators: you design metrics before solutions, live in dashboards, and optimize scheme ROI on cost-per-incremental-MAU and frequency — not redemptions or raw volume.Product-minded, not just campaign-minded: you know the durable way to beat bank QR is a faster, more convenient product — and you can partner with Tech to ship it.Customer-obsessed product builders: you obsess over merchant and end-user painpoints — you keep asking "why," dig beneath the surface symptom to the real problem, and look deeper until you understand the job to be done, then turn that insight into products people genuinely want.Business builders across disciplines: comfortable owning product, growth, and BD at once — you can size a market top-down and bottom-up, run a competitive scan, and close a bundling partnership.Integrators, not silo-runners: you make two pillars and multiple streams reinforce each other into one end-user journey.Builders of leaders: you manage managers and leads; your leverage is through them. You coach, set clear expectations, and hold people accountable with both rigor and care.AI-forward: you see Agentic AI as a core lever for insight, internal ops, and merchant / end-user solutions, and you can convert ideas into shipped products with Product / Tech.Requirements:Strongly Preferred8+ years in growth, product, business / GM, or platform roles, with proven ownership of a PL or a major growth metric at scale.Data- and analytics-driven: designed and optimized incentive / reward schemes, growth experiments, and segmentation; fluent in unit economics (CAC, MAU, frequency, retention cohorts).People leadership: managed managers / leads and a multi-function team; can develop leaders, not just manage tasks.Cross-functional execution: led delivery across Product / Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Risk through influence, not just authority. What Gives You an EdgeFintech, payments, e-commerce, or consumer platform growth in Vietnam / SEA.Management consulting background with growth or operations transformation experience.AI/automation and application (chatbots, AI decisioning, automated monitoring, predictive ops). What We Offer:The defining user-growth role in Vietnam fintech: how MoMo wins the QR battle vs banks and turns SME merchants into an end-user growth engine.A whole business to own: not a single function — two integrated pillars, with the title of Senior Manager and the scope, autonomy, and visibility of a Head. The MEGA stage: own Ví Trả Sau for end-users, SPS's highest-priority bet of the year, with direct BoD visibility.AI + growth frontier: build the agentic-AI playbook for a fintech user-growth business.Direct outcome impact: your work drives MAU / DAU, frequency, GMV, and merchant value — a growth and revenue engine, not a cost center.Competitive compensation: Head-level package with performance bonuses tied to growth and business KPIs, and comprehensive benefits.
