Rust Engineer, Block River Technologies Taipei Taiwan, Remote/Hybrid, Open to Full-time/Part-time and Contractors As a Rust Engineer, you will be instrumental in building APIs and libraries that unify, enhance, and transform user experiences across our platform. Responsibilities Ability to design and implement secure, reliable, and efficient software backend services.Ability to independently debug problems involving the network and operating system.Assume technical responsibility of complex backend systems, identify opportunities for system improvement.Create programs and software using RustFacilitate specific functions by integrating third-party software components, libraries and programsEvaluate, debug, improve and update software written with RustMaintain and improve existing Rust codebasesBe willing to pick up any other technology stacks such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, web3.js, etc. when required.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement project architecture, backend modules, and refactoring as needed. Independently develop and test Solidity smart contracts based on product requirements. Integrate backend services with various blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Tron, BSC, Solana, Sui, Ton). Develop high-quality backend services using Golang and frameworks such as Gin, GORM, GoZero, and gRPC. Optimize MySQL database schema and queries, and work with middleware such as Redis, Kafka, and Etcd. Participate in system upgrades, promptly resolve technical issues, and maintain technical documentation. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to high-quality project delivery.
