ROLE OVERVIEW As a Backend Engineer at Arches, you will collaborate closely with two senior engineers to develop and continuously improve our internal systems that support core business operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, test, and operate Ruby on Rails applications for internal systems.Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (eg, JWT).Build, document, and maintain RESTful APIs.Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases using ActiveRecord and raw SQL.Support application development, deployment, and operations using Docker and AWS. You'll work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to bring intuitive digital experiences to life across web and mobile screens. RESPONSIBILITIES Implement responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and production-ready code.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to refine visual and interaction design elements, bridging design and implementation.Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure robust client-side functionality.Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.Build reusable frontend components and libraries for future use.Validate and sanitize user input attributes before sending data to backend services.Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop iOS applications (Swift) according to design documents. - Coordinate with the Testing team to check and fix bugs of the application - Post-deployment support and bug fixes. - Team management: technical selection, code review, support team members, progress management.
