RECOA – Renewable Construction Academy is searching for a proven web developer to take on the role of Project Manager for Technical and Site Development.
You will spearhead the technical and site development of an industry targeted training and education platform that aims to address the renewable energy industry’s skill shortage.
A key challenge to the green transition is a shortage of skills and industry experience with one of the biggest drivers being insufficient training and education. RECOA is committed to addressing this challenge through developing new talent and upskilling experienced professionals from other sectors.
The Role
As the Technical Project Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for outlining the company's technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs.
You will be tasked with:
Developing the Recoa.eu platform version 2.0 and taking through to operation. This includes:
Technical specifications to 3rd party developer
Tender material for RECOA 2.0 development
Technical evaluation/selection criteria for 3rd party developers
Technical Documentation and "as built"
Integration of Learning management system (LMS) into RECOA platform

The ideal person will have the following qualifications, experience, and traits:
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant fieldExperienced web developer with a track record in the design and creation of scalable online platformsExperienced in writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-endExperienced in testing and fixing bugs or other coding issuesProven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleUnderstanding of developing desktop and mobile applicationsFamiliarity with common stacksKnowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX designExcellent communication and teamwork skillsGreat attention to detailOrganizational skillsAn analytical mindFluent in English language.
