Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.Responsibilities Ensure best unit cost delivery for Google network infrastructure aligned to near build cost economics.  Project manage the approved network plan with internal contributors such as network negotiators or vendor delivery managers to ensure infrastructure is delivered on-time.  Collaborate with internal business and cross-functional teams to identify and define tactical and strategic initiatives necessary to meet Google's network infrastructure needs for expansion, resilience and cost optimization across India. Identify stakeholders and work with them to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives and success criteria. Estimate task duration, and ensure schedules and dependencies are aligned and support those objectives. Develop executive ready materials (presentations, dashboard, analysis) to support reviews, operating cadence and decision making. About the jobAs an Application Modernization Engineer, you will work with customers to transform existing enterprise applications into modern, cloud native applications to reduce time to launch, increase release frequency, reduce time to recovery and failure rate. You will propose and execute, including code development, approaches to modernize Google’s customer’s applications and deploy them to Google Cloud Platform. You will work with customers on application re-design and implementation, including application scaling and reliability. You will also advise on ongoing operations such as application and feature rollouts, monitoring, and more. You will work closely with product management and product engineering to build and drive excellence in our products. You will work with Google's most strategic Cloud customers. You will support customer adoption of Google Cloud products through architecture guidance, best practices, application migration, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and much more. Responsibilities Deliver modern software to Google’s customers, including creating and executing enterprise application transformation and migration strategies. Recommend approaches and estimated effort for application migration and modernization programs. Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code. Travel up to 30% for in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities. Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex software development challenges.
