Appaegis Inc. dba Mammoth Cyber is a Silicon Valley-based cybersecurity startup backed by top-tier venture capital. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits, we are building a new R&D team in Taipei and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer passionate about developing endpoint-oriented applications with strong integration into cloud services and web technologies. This role focuses on designing and developing software that runs on endpoints—including components that interact with browsers, proxy agents, or client-side services. Our products rely heavily on cloud service and web/network technologies, including modern frontend/backend development and API integration.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer with at least 3 years of development experience in one or more of the following languages: C++, Golang, or Node.js. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality software and possess strong problem-solving skills. Additionally, knowledge of networking technologies, especially the operation of proxy servers, will be considered a plus.This position will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.Appaegis Inc. dba Mammoth Cyber provides competitive salary and benefit. What You’ll Be Working On Design and develop applications that run on endpoints, such as browser-integrated components, proxy agents, or control interfacesIntegrate applications with cloud services for features such as authentication, data exchange, and real-time interactionWork on APIs and network communication layers with an understanding of common web protocolsTake ownership of features from concept to productionCollaborate with US-based teams on architecture design and participate in code reviews **Sorry we cannot hire foreigners due to local regulations.

Showcase your creativity and technical skills by quickly prototyping web content in collaboration with our design and backend teams.Your work on the presentation layer will ensure a seamless user experience with a strong focus on user experience design.Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement RESTful APIs and WebSockets, ensuring smooth communication and integration between the frontend and backend systems.Utilize your expertise in debugging and browser tools to troubleshoot issues and fine-tune performance, ensuring our applications deliver optimal performance across different browsers.Leverage your proficiency in Vue.js to structure containers, components, and flows, creating a well-organized and scalable frontend architecture.Your expertise in CSS layout and semantic HTML will contribute to a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.Experience with cross-browser support and responsive web design (RWD) is highly valued.Familiarity with build procedures and configuration to support different staging environments will be advantageous in ensuring smooth deployment and testing processes.
