Nitra's mission is to build a moreefficient healthcare systemand thetechnologythat makes itpossible. Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.
Nitra offers physicians and medical clinics around the country credit and expense management products they crucially need, as well as a medical supply marketplace, in an all-in-one platform powered by machine learning technologies.
Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Plaid, and Goldman Sachs. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.
We're looking for:
A Staff Front-End Engineer with experience in Fintech or marketplaces who will shape the direction of our front-end practice while being at the forefront of our mission to bring better finance solutions to millions of businesses in the United States. You will not only be building user experiences yourself but also mentoring, guiding, and scaling a team of engineers to deliver on an ambitious roadmap of innovative banking and SaaS products.***Note: You must be based out of Taipei for this role.
Your responsibilities will include:Technical Depth QualityOwn the technical direction and architecture for the entire team, extending beyond individual modules.
Drive technical decisions that influence multiple teams across the organization.
Defines the team's standard for "what good engineering looks like" (code quality, testing, monitoring, etc.)
Domain MasteryMaintain a holistic domain view of the overall business, including fintech, healthcare, and claims.\Connects domain knowledge to technical and product strategy decisions (e.g., compliance trade-offs, product direction).Scope Ambiguity
Define strategic priorities and navigate high uncertainty to set the direction for the team.Leads company-wide technical initiatives spanning roughly 6 months (e.g., a security roadmap).Communication CollaborationBuilds org-level consensus in highly ambiguous situations, even amid conflicting stakeholder interests.Technical InfluenceInfluence extends to the company level—earned through expertise, not authority.Mentors senior engineers, not just junior ones.Sets technical standards that other teams adopt on their own initiative.
