Build and deploy tooling across software stack including Firmware, Android Apps and Mobile SDKs, especially build, continuous integration and test automation infrastructure. Work with stakeholders across BBPOS and Stripe Terminal to balance and accommodate competing desires. Interact with global engineering teams and provide them capabilities to build and ship software with speed and reliability. Routinely perform code reviews to ensure high quality designs and implementation. Who you are We are looking for software engineers with an interest in building tools and frameworks for engineers. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise in building tooling and infrastructure for builds, releases, automated testing; a passion for solving developer productivity problems, and a pragmatic approach to iterative problem solving. Minimum requirements Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Engineering/Science or related discipline. 4+ years of professional, full-time software development experience. Strong problem solver and able to take initiatives in solving problems. Experience writing high quality code in a major programming language, preferably Kotlin, Java or Golang. The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts. Preferred qualifications Proficiency in Kotlin, Java or Golang Experience building tools to improve developer productivity, and empathy for the end users.
