We are seeking a detail-oriented andproactiveProcurementAssistant/ Global Supply Chain Specialistto support daily purchasing operations, supplier coordination, and logistics management. This role will assist in ensuring materials and products are sourced, purchased, and delivered on time to meet production and business needs.Responsibilities:
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for profitable and favorable terms and costsDevelop and implement purchasing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and efficiencyDrive cross-functional teams(Food Safety, Marketing, and Engineering) to optimize the organization by identifying efficiency issues, developing solutions, and implementing changesDrive operational readiness of suppliers, including purchase order readiness, planning long-term forecasts, capacity plans, and clear-to-buildDevelop relationships and needs with suppliers and implement purchasing and contract(NDA, MPA) management instructionsConducted or reviewed cost analysis by assessing material, labor, and overhead costs incurred in the production and finished productsAdminister payment flows and maintain accurate records using systems and data sheets
