We’re hiring a UI Designer! This is an on-site position based in our Taipei office, and requires proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for internal and vendor communication. We are looking for a talented UI Designer to join our team and help build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. The ideal candidate is passionate about turning ideas into visually engaging and functional user experiences, with a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of design systems. Responsibilities Create high-quality user interface designs across web and mobile platforms. Build user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma (including auto-layout, components, variants, and interactive prototyping). Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into user-friendly designs. Apply and maintain our design system to ensure consistency across products. Produce deliverables effectively and efficiently, from concept sketches to final mockups. Ensure designs align with usability standards and accessibility best practices. Conduct basic UI quality control after development is completed, ensuring the implemented interface matches the design specifications. Cover both digital and print design tasks, including preparing print-ready files, liaising with printing vendors, and coordinating pickups when needed. Perform other design-related tasks as required (not limited to the above). Requirements Must provide a portfolio showcasing relevant UI design work. 3+ years of professional experience as a UI Designer or in a similar role. 1+ years of experience in building and maintaining Design Systems (e.g., typographic scales, color palettes, iconography, illustrations, and micro-interactions). Proficient in Figma and able to efficiently create flows, prototypes, and design iterations. Strong knowledge of design systems and ability to design within established guidelines. Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and responsive design. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering polished, production-ready designs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in Mandarin Chinese (at least professional working level) for internal and vendor communication. Bonus / Nice to Have Strong visual design skills, including composition, branding, and illustration. Prior experience designing for healthcare or medical products. Good command of English (spoken and written). Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to enhance design workflow and productivity.
