In this position, you will be responsible for switch/router product architect and lead complex product design. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Co-work with front end team and program team to response customer technical requirement, lead technical discussion with customer or front end team;Define system architect, trade off product requirement, performance, cost, and risk, etc.Following technology trend and contribute to product roadmap definition.Lead complex product design like chassis level modular switch/route from technical point of view.Consultant and lead complex issue debug and troubleshooting;

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, involving multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling.* Provides technical leadership and direction to a sizable team of engineers. May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas* Takes responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.).* Reviews and interprets customer requirements/specifications and may act as primary customer contract.* Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develops deployment strategies and plans.* Leads the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinates site-wide deployment efforts.* May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.* Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. E.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.* Testing, simulation and measuring (including troubleshooting) the performance of systems* Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations* Solve complex problems* Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.* Analyze and interpret data and information* Recommend modifications for systems* Create reports, minutes and updates* May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas.

Sketch and draw up designs using input from other engineers, requirements and input from design review (DFx) team.* Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis.* Submit drawings to management, engineering teams and customers for review.* Provide support during the manufacturing process.* Finalize designs and send prints to the production department.
