[About the Role]We are looking for talented AI/ML engineers to help build, evaluate, and optimize next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will design and improve machine learning pipelines, fine-tune large language models, develop generative AI applications, and contribute to the research and engineering workflows that power real-world AI deployments. This is a highly technical role ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex ML problems, working with modern AI architectures, and pushing the boundaries of model performance and capability. [What You’ll Do]As an AI/ML LLM Engineer, you will:• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models, including LLMs and multimodal models.• Develop and maintain ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, training, inference, monitoring, and performance optimization.• Fine-tune LLMs for downstream tasks and design evaluation strategies to measure progress.• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems using vector databases and orchestration frameworks.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-facing AI features and integrate models into production workflows.• Conduct research explorations, benchmark different architectures, and experiment with new methods from recent papers.• Build and deploy scalable ML services using Python-based frameworks, cloud platforms, and containerization tools.• Document engineering decisions, model behavior, experiments, and results clearly.

The Delta Robotics Innovation Center (DRIC) is established to support Delta Electronics' long-term robotics development. Its primary purpose is to build and enhance Delta's capabilities in robot design, manufacturing, and integration. Rather than focusing on delivering specific products, the center aims to cultivate core competencies that enable Delta groups to efficiently develop and commercialize robotics-based solutions. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with model development and robotics teams to deploy AI models on real-world robots. • Design and optimize sim-to-real transfer pipelines to bridge the gap between simulation and physical deployment. • Integrate reinforcement learning and fine-tuned models into the robot control stack for real-time execution. • Validate and refine model performance on physical robots, ensuring robustness and safety in real-world environments. • Development and deployment of AI models for perception, motion planning, and manipulation tasks on robot hardware.

Its primary purpose is to build and enhance Delta's capabilities in robot design, manufacturing, and integration. Rather than focusing on delivering specific products, the center aims to cultivate core competencies that enable Delta groups to efficiently develop and commercialize robotics-based solutions. Responsibilities: • Design and develop modular, extensible, and software-defined architectures for robotic systems across the full stack (from low-level control to high-level behavior). • Define and implement system-level interfaces, communication protocols, and data pipelines between modules such as perception, planning, control, and actuation. • Work closely with AI and robotics team members to embed models into the runtime system architecture with real-time performance requirements. • Manage and evolve the robot middleware stack, including ROS/ROS2-based services, messaging layers, and configuration management. • Support lifecycle management, diagnostics, and introspection tools to monitor system health and behavior during long-term operation. • Ensure systems are built with safety, performance, and scalability in mind to support both single-robot and multi-robot deployments. • Build tools and systems to measure, monitor, and improve data and model quality, across both live and offline environments. • Support full-stack development across robot-side software, cloud services, and internal user interfaces as needed.

Responsibilities: • Design and implement robot simulation environments for locomotion, manipulation, and autonomous navigation using platforms such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or Unity. • Develop digital twins of physical robot platforms and environments to support virtual testing, monitoring, and predictive modeling. • Build scalable sim-to-real pipelines to accelerate model training, testing, and validation in virtual environments. • Create APIs or interfaces to integrate simulation environments with AI models, control systems, and robot operating stacks (e.g., ROS 2.0). • Collaborate with robotics hardware teams to ensure accurate modeling of kinematics, dynamics, sensors (LiDAR, depth, force-torque), and actuators. • Contribute to scenario creation, automated test suites, and metric-based evaluation pipelines for development and benchmarking. • Support research and engineering teams in data generation for perception and learning models. • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and methodologies in simulation fidelity, domain randomization, and digital twin technologies.
