Join the dynamic People team at Cake as a People Operations Associate, where you'll play an essential role in supporting the employee experience and keeping HR operations running smoothly as our company grows. This role is open to fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are excited to build a strong foundation in full-function HR — and who are eager to embrace AI-powered tools to make administrative work faster, smarter, and more impactful. You'll work closely with C-level leaders to help shape and build an AI-powered people operations function that scales with Cake — while nurturing and strengthening the Cake culture that makes our team thrive. Partnering with employees across Product, Business, Marketing, and Recruitment Consulting (RC) teams, you'll deliver a seamless HR experience spanning onboarding, employee data management, benefits administration, and workplace support.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and contract management.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HRIS data, and people-related documentation.Coordinate monthly payroll, benefits enrollment, and leave management with internal and external partners.Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as employment letters, reference letters, and compliance documentation.Support employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and culture-building activities.Assist with the rollout of HR policies and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.Proactively identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows by adopting and experimenting with AI tools and automation.Serve as a friendly first point of contact for employee questions on HR matters, ensuring a responsive and positive experience.Contribute to a thriving employee experience that reflects Cake's values and supports the company's growth.
