Automation Systems Integration Engineer in TSMC's Intelligent Manufacturing Center (IMC) has four missions: To be familiar with TSMC's automation system architecture and software development lifecycle, define user requirements, and assist in providing integrated solutions to improve production line issues, such as process automation, enhancement of personnel/machine productivity, or optimization of quality monitoring.To be enthusiastic about learning new technological knowledge and willing to understand the details of semiconductor production processes, possess data analysis capabilities to thoroughly investigate problems, and guide users in proposing complete and rational end-user requirements.To have project tracking and management skills, proactively identify problems and actively seek resources for assistance, effectively intervene and manage conflicts when they arise, with frequent opportunities to present briefings for communication management.In the event of system anomalies in the responsible fab area, one must responsibly understand the extent of the anomaly's impact and report back to supervisors, and collaborate with the relevant system personnel to resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame to avoid significant production line losses. Responsibilities: Serve as a bridge between users and the system development team, assisting in finding system opportunity, defining requirements and continuously improving system experiences.Collaborate with users to define precise system requirement and solution to improve tool efficiency, people productivity and quality defense.Cooperate with cross-team members to manage project progress and be goal-oriented to deliver achievements.

Experience in network (layer 4 and below) troubleshooting with optics, fibers, switches and related network equipment. Preferred qualifications: Experience with physical machine fleet provisioning in data center-like environments Experience with networking administration, maintenance, and database management. Experience with software development languages, particularly Python, Linux or other Unix operating systems such as Ubuntu, and RHEL, etc. Understanding of computer systems like server, storage, or GPU system architecture. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage the needs of multiple lab users. About the jobIn this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of Google’s compute and storage machines to satisfy Google data center internal use and external cloud customers. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.Responsibilities Support various hardware bring up and qualification testing activities by operating various Google proprietary systems and setting up proper network environments.  Design and define the network topology, provide assistance to establish proper power and cooling infrastructure for medium and low-touch labs with remote control functionality.  Develop infrastructure required for managing the fleet of test systems at scale to improve automation and test execution efficiency. Develop quality data collection, analysis and visualization systems in support of system verification. Support hardware, software and hardware qualification engineers on project planning and ensure adequate resources (networking capability, space, power) are met as required.
