Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product, Design, and Backend teams, to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions that impact the future of mobile content creation at YouTube. Mentor and guide engineers, setting technical standards through code and design reviews, and helping the team members grow their technical and professional skills. Identify and resolve systemic technical debt or process bottlenecks, improving developer productivity and ensuring the sustainability of the iOS codebase. Preferred qualifications: 7 years of experience developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications. 6 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment. Experience working with hosted back-ends (e.g., Firebase) to power prototypes. Knowledge of UX motion and visual design, and visual storytelling.
