Karl Kandt brings over 30 years of diverse professional experience, mainly specializing in advising and counseling. Currently, as a veteran employment representative in Kansas, Karl Kandt’s success in his role results from extensive experience gained in academic, career services, and employment-focused fields.

Previously, Mr. Kandt was an academic coordinator for the Wichita State University’s Athletic Student Services Department. He provided academic and sport advising to student-athletes and hosted annual spring career fairs, facilitating internships and job opportunities. Later, as assistant director of Career and Employment Services at Kansas State University, he helped students and alums define career paths and prepare for employment, coaching them on interview techniques and coordinating an annual career fair in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences.

Beyond career counseling, Mr. Kandt has been involved in agriculture. He works with K Ranch, LLC in Kansas, holding roles such as volunteer, part-time manager, and full-time manager of farming and ranching operations.

Mr. Kandt’s current professional affiliations include membership in the Kansas State University Athletic Ahearn Club, Manhattan Solar Kiwanis Organization, and Emporia State University Alumni Association. He has also served on the Manhattan High School Alumni Association’s board.

When not working, Karl Kandt travels, participates in charity fun runs, and volunteers for causes like the Salvation Army Bell Ringing campaign. A sports enthusiast, he has a background in high school and college sports broadcasting.
