For over 30 years, Maria Stamolis, a Dallas, Texas-based real estate investment executive, has dedicated herself to helping organizations invest and manage their portfolios effectively. An alumnus of Fordham University, Maria Stamolis has consistently monitored and adapted to new real estate trends and themes. She is the chief investment officer of Lincoln Property Company, where she heads the investment management division.
Previously, Maria Stamolis served as partner, co-head of Real Estate Investments, and director of Asset Management at Canyon Partners Real Estate. She supervised a team of 40 investment professionals working in various offices across the United States. She also supervised portfolio and risk management, voted on all real estate investment committees, and handled over $21 billion of investments.
Before joining Canyon Partners Real Estate, Maria Stamoli was an executive vice president at Karney Management Company and later became a consultant. She managed a portion of the company’s development projects, guiding acquisition and entitlement to lease-up. As the Executive Vice President, she managed over 65 partnerships and handled acquisitions, development and redevelopment, leasing, and dispositions.
Other corporations she served earlier in her career included R&B Realty Group/Oakwood Worldwide, where she was the vice president of Asset Management, overseeing a $1.5 billion, 50+ property real estate portfolio. She also served as the portfolio manager of GE Capital Commercial Real Estate and as an investment officer/workout specialist for MBL Life Assurance Corporation.
Besides her professional duties, Maria Stamolis volunteers her experience with numerous Dallas, Texas-based organizations, including the Host Committee-Annual Chef Classic at Dallas 24 Hour Club. She is also the board director and executive committee member at Goodwill Industries of Dallas. She serves as an advisory board member, investment committee member, and adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University. She subscribes to various real estate platforms such as Dallas Business Journal, Commercial Observer, and Private Equity Real Estate (PERE).
