Matthew Gelsheimer

With a strong foundation in faith and family, Matthew Gelsheimer is active in the Lenexa, Kansas, community. Participating in the One Life Child Sponsorship Program, he adopted and provided financial assistance to kids facing serious challenges and raised twins. Matthew Gelsheimer enjoys playing tennis on weekends with his son, who lettered in tennis during his senior year of high school.

Mr. Gelsheimer has maintained membership with the Westside Family Church since 2005 and remained part of the long-running men’s group that gathers around the campfire to share stories, prayer, and support. He also contributes to John Hagee Ministries in San Antonio and is a proponent of "Sanctuary Of Hope,” which provides fellowship and support to those with few life options.

A vintage car enthusiast, Mr. Gelsheimer has owned Chevrolet Camaros exclusively since the mid-1980s, with his first model, a 1976 Camaro. He graduated to a 1982 Camaro Berlinetta and has owned four additional Camaros, with the latest a 2019 Camaro 2SS. A fitness enthusiast, Matthew Gelsheimer works out five days weekly, with sessions incorporating spinning, weightlifting, and circuit training.
