After 5 years of experience as a project manager, I decided to become a sales PM to gain a better understanding of design concepts and costs.
Achievement:
1. The first year I joined the sales team, I successfully cooperated with the team to win the brand-new product line. It's also Inventec's first HP mobile workstation project(HP ZBook Studio G9 Workstation Laptop).
2. Over the next few years, I not only coordinated well with the team to deliver reliability, and quality but also used my cost control skills(Such as analyzing competitive products or finding multiple cost-reduction opportunities by reviewing the design) to win 9 additional new projects and get them all launched on time. (Including the HP ZBook Studio series/HP ZBook Fury series/HP ZBook Power series/HP Elitebook series. HP Studio/Fury/Power series are all Inventec’s first wins)
3. Got the Best Employee Award 2023
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with multi-function (internal) and Intel/AMD/Nvidia/HP(external) project teams from product early engagement concept study to mass production.
2. Managing schedule and monitoring costs from development to mass production.
3. Coordinate the team to find any cost-reduction opportunities and lead the simplification of supply chain processes
4. Market analysis trends, and also focus on competitive product analysis
5. Arranging resources and monitoring materials preparation readiness
6. Establishing BOM structures and evaluating the production processes of the factory
7. Coordinate R&D and QA team to define a product/ service/solution (PSS) family
