He participated in high-risk convoy security operations and efforts during his deployment in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. One of his most significant assignments was his time in Okinawa, Japan, where he oversaw the well-being of over 30 service members. This experience laid the foundation for his leadership style, earning him several personal awards for his dedication and performance. After completing his military service, Alex transitioned to the public sector with the Social Security Administration. He worked diligently to assess eligibility for benefits, conduct investigative interviews, and make decisions that directly impact individuals' lives. His fluency in English and Spanish allowed him to communicate effectively with a broad range of people, ensuring fairness and accuracy in his decisions. Additionally, he played a crucial role in cases involving congressional inquiries and overpayment recovery, where his analytical skills and commitment to public service were critical in achieving positive outcomes. Alexander’s career then took him into the private sector, where he brought his leadership experience to the insurance industry. He began as sales director at one of South Florida’s largest insurance brokerages. Here, he focused on streamlining communication and operational processes, which improved the flow of information between sales agents, internal teams, and corporate executives. His success in this role led to his promotion to Director of Broker Support and Licensing. In this position, Alex was responsible for ensuring agents adhered to industry regulations and compliance standards. His leadership approach emphasized mentorship, team development, and fostering a culture of accountability and respect. Alex has remained deeply committed to his family throughout his career, prioritizing quality time with his wife and four children. He enjoys participating in outdoor activities and maintaining a strong connection with his family. His service-oriented mindset extends beyond his career, as he is actively involved in charitable organizations, including Wounded Warriors and the Broward County Humane Society.
