Alexander Schifter is a fractional CFO consultant with Centripetal Advisors, where he partners with leading enterprise SaaS startups to facilitate their growth. He also invests in his clients when opportunities present themselves. With a strong entrepreneurial background and a wealth of financial expertise, he helps SaaS founders navigate the challenges of scaling their businesses. His experience building and managing companies gives him a comprehensive understanding of startup business planning, strategic finance, and revenue operations.
In 2022, Alex Schifter acquired XO Expresso Bar, a specialty coffee shop offering premium and wellness drinks. After securing investor financing, he expanded the business to Miami, where he now oversees operations, including business development, financial planning and analysis, procurement, and human resources. Under his leadership, XO Expresso Bar has grown to two locations, with plans for more shortly. Alexander has also pursued wholesale opportunities and is launching a new luxury location in Miami Beach. Additionally, he secured a three-year consulting and supply agreement with the prestigious French patisserie Yann Couvreur.
In 2021, Alexander co-founded Hello Arthur, a marketplace that makes medical and dental supplies more accessible by allowing healthcare providers to purchase directly from manufacturers. This initiative resulted in significant cost savings for end customers. The company was named in honor of his grandfather, Arthur Schifter, who sold critical medical supplies during the AIDS pandemic. Despite achieving six figures in revenue, Alexander decided to wind down operations and focus solely on XO Expresso Bar.
Alexander’s professional journey began in 2015 when he joined AGC Partners as an Investment Bank Analyst. Technology Investment Banker spanning several midsized and large regional boutiques from 2015 to 2020. He worked on M&A advisory for middle-market technology companies, assisting with financial models, pitch books, and client presentations. His next role was at DCA, a boutique investment bank, where he played a key role in numerous digital media and technology deals. Alexander then moved to Pharus Advisors, where he continued to work on M&A advisory and equity capital raises across various industries.
At Trousdale Capital Management, now Numeta Capital, Alexander served as Vice President in the technology growth equity sector, sourcing and executing investments in enterprise software companies.
A Tufts University graduate with a degree in Economics and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies, Alexander was also an NCAA varsity athlete in cross country and track. Beyond his career, he is deeply committed to philanthropy, raising funds for cancer research, Habitat for Humanity, and the ALS Association. Alexander Schifter continues to make meaningful contributions to the business world and his community.
