Leadership Role at Framing Futures Architectural Firm
As CEO and founding partner, Lugo manages the firm’s daily operations and oversees architectural design processes for multiple active projects. He works closely with FFAF’s executive board to organize project planning, coordinate design teams, and deliver modern architectural solutions for commercial and public structures. His leadership reflects a deep command of modern architectural engineering fundamentals, balancing creative vision with technical discipline, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Under Lugo’s direction, Framing Futures Architectural Firm emphasizes collaborative design, disciplined workflow management, and architecture that aligns innovation with long-term performance and community needs.
Senior Architectural Experience Prior to FFAF
Before founding FFAF, Androsky Lugo spent more than a decade in senior architectural roles at leading firms across the United States. He served as Senior Architect at Parkins and Rhodon in New York and Fentrell Architects in San Francisco, contributing to complex commercial, civic, and mixed-use developments.
Earlier in his career, Lugo worked for five years at Macaby and Roy, initially holding the role of Senior Architectural Design Strategist before advancing to Senior Architect in 2008. These positions strengthened his expertise in design leadership, large-scale project coordination, and the translation of architectural concepts into executable plans.
Lugo also served as a Project Architect in Albany, NY, at an architectural firm founded by his father in 1990. After completing an internship, he formally joined the firm in 2002, gaining hands-on experience in full-cycle architectural practice. Prior to joining his father’s firm, Lugo held several professional roles, including work as a business consultant for a small development firm in New York City—experience that continues to inform his operational and strategic leadership approach.
Education and Advanced Training
Androsky Lugo earned his Bachelor of Business from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. He later transitioned his career focus to architecture and enrolled at Cornell University, where he pursued a Master of Architecture degree, graduating in 2002.
Following his graduate studies, Lugo expanded his technical expertise with additional training in Building Science and Technology and Environmental Systems. In 2003, he continued his education with advanced studies in environmentally conscious building and design, reinforcing his long-term commitment to sustainable architectural practices.
Professional Projects and Industry Contributions
Throughout his two-decade career, Lugo has been involved in numerous high-profile architectural projects. In 2012, he collaborated with the San Francisco Historic Buildings Committee, contributing to the planning and design of renovations for several public service spaces. These projects required careful integration of historic preservation standards with modern functionality, highlighting Lugo’s ability to operate within complex regulatory and cultural environments.
