Ayden Hector is a recent high school graduate who wants to be an athlete at a college. Hector will be graduating from Eastside Catholic High School in 2020 after having a great academic and athletic career. He won many awards as a student and on the varsity football defense team. All-American Bowl Man of the Year nominee: Hector was nominated for the honor in his senior year. He also got a spot on ESPN's Top 300 Player list, which is a list of the best football players in the country. Ayden is an active member of the Eastside community, as well as a student-athlete who has had many victories for the school. Hector was the President of the student-led B. Box (Birthday Box) from 2016 to 2020, a group that works to improve the lives of young people who are living on the streets in the area. During his time as president, B. Box raised a lot of money and got a lot of different things for the community's homeless kids. Tent City, which helps the homeless in the area, and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life were also groups that Ayden Hector helped with during that time. Ayden has proven himself both academically and athletically at Colorado State University, where he continues to excel as a defensive back for the Rams. His love for football began at a young age and has carried into his college career, where his performance quickly stood out. Despite competing in only seven games, he earned all-conference honors, reflecting not only his athletic ability but also the discipline and dedication he brings to every challenge. During the 2022 season, Hector became a consistent leader on defense. He recorded 24 tackles and three interceptions, making a strong impression on his team and coaches. His most memorable performance came on October 7, when he posted eight tackles, secured an interception, and returned it for a touchdown. With three years of eligibility remaining, he is determined to continue his upward trajectory, supporting the Rams as they strive to build a stronger program and culture. Off the field, Ayden Hector remains committed to serving others. He founded B.Box in high school to provide birthday boxes for homeless teens, a mission he continues today in partnership with Colorado State’s food pantry. His dedication to community service highlights his character, leadership, and vision beyond sports.
